Do I need a referral to book a session?

No referral is needed for private-pay clients. Simply contact us to book your preferred service and we'll get you scheduled. VA Community Care patients will need an authorized referral from their VA primary care provider before their first visit.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your first visit includes a brief health intake consultation so your therapist can understand your goals, health history, and any areas of concern. From there, we personalize your session. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork.

How are your therapists licensed?

All of our therapists hold a current Texas Massage Therapy license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). They maintain continuing education hours and carry professional liability insurance.

How does VA Community Care billing work?

Once we receive your VA-authorized referral, we handle all billing directly with the VA. There is no out-of-pocket cost to eligible veterans. Simply bring your referral documentation to your first appointment and we take care of the rest.

Is prenatal massage safe during all trimesters?

Prenatal massage is generally safe after the first trimester (12 weeks). We recommend getting clearance from your OB-GYN before booking. Our therapists are specifically trained in prenatal techniques and use specialized positioning equipment to ensure your comfort and safety.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. We understand that unexpected things happen — please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.

How much does massage therapy cost in McAllen, TX?

Our sessions start at $25 for a 15-minute chair massage and range up to $140 for a 90-minute hot stone massage. Swedish massage starts at $80 for 60 minutes, deep tissue and sports massage at $90 for 60 minutes. VA Community Care patients with an authorized referral pay no out-of-pocket cost.
